Nova
Nova spent years living outside on a property with dozens of other dogs, contained by a chain, and having multiple litters of puppies. Despite her origins, she is the most affectionate girl and can’t get close enough to her favorite humans. She'll smother you with kisses if you let her. She has a tendency to jump in excitement but she's been working on keeping all 4 paws on the ground. She’s incredibly loving despite not being shown care previously. She loves going on daily walks, sleeps in her crate without protest, is housebroken, and doesn’t mind other dogs(she prefers female dog companions and is a little more avoidant of males). She doesn't love loud noises or quick movements given lack of prior exposure to normal neighborhood noises. She also hasn't shown any interest in toys other than bones. Though she isn't fostered with felines, in passing she doesn't seem to pay them any attention. Her ideal home is would be a lower-traffic household without the noise of small children where you don’t mind having a shadow.
Nova has been spayed and brought UTD on vaccines. She recently completed heartworm treatment so a calm environment will need to be maintained until her exercise restriction is lifted mid-August.
Her adoption fee is $350.
