Auggie is a ~15-week-old fluffy black puppy with a mystery breed mix and an equally mysterious future size! He most closely resembles a Schnauzer or Labradoodle but we really have no clue. Adopters will have to be open minded (& okay with shedding) as he was brought to the shelter as a stray so we don’t have any background.

Auggie is fiesty, playful, and he’s still learning that fingers, toes, and everything else aren’t chew toys. This little guy is a classic puppy through and through. He’s also working hard on potty training, so his new family should be ready for all the fun (and occasional messes!) that comes with puppyhood. He is getting accustomed to sleeping in his crate while we are out of the house and overnight. He absolutely loves going on walks and car rides. He is more eager to meet other people than the dogs they may be walking.

His favorite routine is rather simple at this age: PLAY HARD → NAP HARD → REPEAT 💤 and of course he’s always excited about meal time.

Auggie would love a similar sized canine companion who can help keep up with his puppy antics and show him the ropes but he’d be fine solo too.

Auggie is UTD on age appropriate vaccines, kept on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His neuter & microchip will be covered by the rescue when 6 months of age.
